It is located half way between
the sea and the forested hills.
The house stands out among all
small houses of the village for
its beauty and size. Resembling
a "manor" house, it
was used to keep the spare corn
in the XVI century. Now, the house has been restored for turistic use without
resting its authenticity. The kitchen-dining room occupies a comon space and
keeps a rustic atmosphere with a modern functional sense. The walls has been
kept simply whitewashed, so that dark carpentry of windows and big wooden door
of entrance, together with floors and ceilings make up a whole strong two-colour
contrast. There is a large confortable, simply and attractive saloon where
the old furniture combines with modern functionality.
Two large double bedrooms with two extra beds as well occupy the downstairs,
both equiped with own bathrooms; both rooms have access to the surrounding
ground of the house.
Surrounded by gardens and orchards, this majestic house is only half kilometer
from Bodegas El Hoyo where the wines Hoyo de Mazo and Mazegas are elaborated.
Excellent views towards the top of the mountains that divide the island and
to the inmense Atlantic Ocean where you can usually spy El Teide, in Tenerife.
The peace of the places invites to walk among gardens and vineyards. The mild
atmosphere offers the possibility of sunbathing in the terrace or enjoy open
air meals round the barbecue.
