This hotel is a country house overlooking the beautiful mountains of Gredos - a perfect location for sightseeing and an ideal place to watch different types of birds as they fly over the hotel. On the top floor, beneath the rafters, there is a spacious attic lounge and astronomic dome with a large telescope for stargazing, down one floor, a second reading room with over 2000 books in English and Spanish. Teresa and Paco, the owners, have created a comfortable and sensual ambience in every room. The fabrics, polished wooden floors and antique prints mix harmoniously with the serene views. A splendid place to enjoy a sauna, long walks, excellent regional food and wine. A new part of the hotel has recently opened and contains a lounge/bar and several new "themed" suites. (For example, the Nordic room has its own sauna, the English room has chintz furnishings, the Japanese room has an authentic futon bed) The restaurant serves gastronomic-quality food ("supreme" is the word used by our staff! -- views, great food, beautiful surroundings).

They organize wine tasting where the centre of attention are the aromas contained in the wine (until 50 different aromas can be contained in a bottle of wine).
