It
is located in a Special Bird Protection
Zone (ZEPA -20,000 hectares) and
lies at the source of the River
Gévora. A few kilometres
away is the ZEPA. of Sierra de
San Pedro (120,000 hectares) and
the Tajo International Natural
Park (13,000 hectares). The house
is situated in the west of the
province of Cáceres on the
Spanish and Portuguese Border,
and is also near the Sierra de
San Mamede Natural Park in Portugal
.
This is an excelent place to watch
a wide range of bird species The
visitor can watch Colonies of Vultures
from the houses themselves, which
nest in the mountains just in front
of Quinta de Luna.
Three houses are available, each
with a living room, kitchen, two
double bedrooms, two bathrooms.
There is also a large garden with
a swimming pool.
