La Posada is situated in the centre town of Carrizo, totally surrounded by farms and gardens. It is housed in tue old pilgrin's hospital of the Monastery of Cisterce of Santa María de carrizo (National Monument) which nowadays is still occupied by nuns of the same order. We can listen to gregorian chants in their church everyday at 21 h..

During the last century it served as a sumer residence for the Marquises of Santa María de Carrizo nowdays, conveniently restored, lets its rooms at the traveller's disponsal. .

At La Posada, you will find a atatly accomodation, you will enjoy its spaciousness, peace and tranquility both in its rooms (all double with bath) as well as in its furnished louges decorated with antiquities.
